In June of 2007, another Volunteer Vacation crew went to work on Patos Island. Their jobs were to replace the rotting retaining wall at the campsite overlooking Active Cove, weed whack the tall grassaround the Patos Island sign, and clear the overgrowth from the sidewalk that the lighthousekeepers used to wheelbarrow their supplies to the lighthouse.
